My name is Carolina Corvillo. I am a fiction, script and comic writer based in Madrid. As a fiction book writer I've published a novel, “Yo desobedezco o cuento de Ámsterdam”, with Cassandra21 publisher, one collection of fantasy tales: “Cantares No Autorizados del Reino de Nim”, and “Latidos del Mar”, a collection of tales about legends of the oceans with other authors, both of them published in Amazon.

As a playwright, I have written with the director Ricard Reguant a black comedy called “Reservoir Cats”, released in Bucharest (2017). This play will be launched in Madrid very soon. I am the author of “Los sueños de Ariadna” too, a musical show performed in Madrid along different music halls and theatres from 2014 to 2016.

As a comic writer, I have published “Virgo” in the Comixology platform, with Colt García as a draughtsman.

I have also written several screenplays, the main ones being “Dame un verso”, a short film co-directed with Facundo Tosso, and “Dentro”, a short film released recently in the Academy of the Cinematographic Sciences and Arts of Spain.

I am song writer, cocreator and singer in the bands "Sybiliam" and Blacksleeves.

I have written, through different fiction formats and genres (epic, psychological thriller, dark fantasy, historical, comedy...) about the topics of love, the search of the identity and freedom, art, madness, guiltiness, the borders between the individual and the other, and the periods of transition during lifetime. The sex and references to mythologies are important components of my style.

Currently, I am working on some comic projects with Roberto Sanz and Rubén García as draughtsmen. I've collaborated with the illustrator Sastraka in a storybook, "Bird Hunger" (unpublished for the moment) and I'm working with Marina Rodriguez Arias as the illustrator in a short novel.
